MASS APPEAL ENTERTAINMENT TO RELEASE “EYE-LEGACY” NEW SOLO ALBUM FROM LISA “LEFT-EYE” LOPES

Unreleased tracks featuring Tupac Shakur, Missy Elliott, Lil Mama, Chamillionaire, TLC, and Bobby Valentino, featured on new album from Grammy Award Winning rapper Left-Eye

BOSTON (September 25, 2008) –Mass Appeal Entertainment (www.massappealmusic.com) today announced the release of the late Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes’ last solo project EYE-Legacy (www.lefteyelegacy.com). Mass Appeal Entertainment in conjunction with the Lopes family will release the new disc on November 11th filled with 12 unreleased tracks alongside re-tooled songs from the limited edition international release, Supernova (2001).

The first buzz record “Legendary” offers brand new production on a timeless duet featuring the late great rapper, Tupac Shakur. EYE-Legacy also pairs new vocals from the late Left Eye with her female counterparts, TLC and Grammy Award winning rapper/producer, Missy Elliott on the infectious single “Let’s Just Do It.” Other artists featured on the album include Chamillionaire (Ridin’ Dirty/Hip Hop Police), Lil’ Mama (Lip Gloss), and R&B crooner Bobby Valentino (Slow Down).

Boasting an amazing compilation with special collaborations from some of music’s biggest stars along with new vocals from Left Eye, EYE-Legacy is a personal collection of creative testaments from one of music’s most well-known female artists. The new disc will include exclusive bonus material with never-before-seen intimate video footage from Left Eye’s final days. A percentage of the proceeds from the album sales will go to support the Lisa Lopes Foundation (www.lisalopesfoundation.org) and her orphanage in Honduras.

Celebrities, Pioneering DJs and Hip-Hop Heavyweights Come Together to Honor the Unsung Heroes of Music

PEPSI DJ DIVISION ALONG WITH COMPLEX MAGAZINE AND NEW YORK’S HOT 97 HOST 1st ANNUAL MONTH IN THE MIX

WHO: The Pepsi DJ Division (www.pepsidjdivision.com) an association of the premier DJs in the country’s top urban markets, along with Complex Magazine and New York’s Hot 97, host the launch party for the 1st Annual Month in the Mix.

WHAT: Pepsi turns August over to the nation’s DJs with “Month in the Mix,” as they pay tribute to the DJ and its culture for contributions to the American musical landscape and urban lifestyle. Kicking off with an exclusive, star-studded “blue carpet” event in New York, the launch party will feature special performances by renowned hip-hop heavyweights as well as appearances by Pepsi DJ Division members and the pioneering DJs who inspired them. Performances include renown rappers Q-Tip, The Lox, R&B crooner Mario, rapper/producer Juelz Santana, up-coming producer/singer Ryan Leslie, Canadian hip-hop artist Kardinal Offishall, hip-hop duo Nice & Smooth, Al Be Back, Black Sheep, Kidz in the Hall, Wale, Ace Hood, Boxie and others.

The esteemed Scratch DJ Academy will be conducting a silent auction of old Run DMC memorabilia at the event to raise money and awareness for the Jam Master Jay Foundation of Music (www.jammasterjay.org).

Similar “Month in the Mix” events will be held throughout the month of August in multiple markets across the country, including Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, St. Louis, and Washington D.C.
